Has your child already learned the basics of crochet? Give them a fun and enriching experience with our Amigurumi Workshop, specially designed for young creators aged 7 to 12.

🧶 Course Objective:
To introduce children to the Japanese art of amigurumi, which consists of crocheting cute, colorful, and customizable stuffed animals.

👦 Who is it for?
Children who have taken our introductory course or who already have basic crochet skills (chain stitch, single crochet, magic circle).

🎨 What the child will create:
Over the course of the sessions, they will create a simple character (e.g., a cat, a rabbit, or a dinosaur) using an easy-to-follow and fun pattern.

📅 Course format:
5 sessions of 1.5 hours (7.5 hours in total) – small group, friendly supervision, pace adapted to children.

Amigurumi workshop is perfect for children who have already taken our introductory crochet course or who already know how to chain and single crochet.

Participants will learn how to create 3D characters or animals called “amigurumis,” which are very popular in the world of creative crochet.

Duration: 5 sessions of 1h30 (7h30 in total)

Requirements:

  • Age 7 – 12 years,
  • Basic knowledge of crochet (chain and single crochet)

🧵 Materials provided:

  • Colored cotton balls

  • Crochet suitable for small hands

  • Safety eyes

  • Wool needles (to be shared on site)

  • Polyester fiber padding

  • Stitch markers

🧶 What your child will learn during the Amigurumi Workshop:

  • Read a simple amigurumi pattern

  • Make round shapes (magic ring, increases, decreases)

  • Assemble the different parts of a character

  • Add the finishing touches: safety eyes, face embroidery, padding
