This structured course, consisting of 5 X 2-hour sessions, is designed for beginners who want to acquire a solid and lasting foundation. Through progressive learning, you will go from mastering the machine to completing a technical project: a personalized cushion cover.
✨Program learning objectives:
- Machine setup: Threading, tension adjustment, and basic maintenance without stress.
- Sewing techniques: Mastering different stitches (straight, zigzag) and assembly seams.
- Pattern reading and preparation: Learning to read a pattern, position the fabric, and cut accurately.
- Professional finishing: Creating clean hems and overlocking techniques.
- Managing the fabric: Assembling the pieces to create your first garment.
🧵Included in the price: All technical equipment is provided during the sessions:
- Modern sewing machines and cutting equipment (scissors, rotary cutters).
- Measuring and marking tools (tape measure, fabric chalk).
- Small supplies (pins, seam ripper, hand needles).
- Professional ironing station.
- Training fabrics for technical exercises.
👉Please note: For your final project (the cushion cover), you will have the pleasure of choosing and bringing 50 cm of the fabric of your choice in order to create an object that reflects your personality.
👉 The classes are held on computerized Brother Sq 9130 machines, but you can also bring your own.
