The beginner sewing course is designed to help you develop your skills. To this end, we offer two formats to choose from, depending on your availability and preferences.
🗓️ 1. Regular Format – Progressive Learning

Duration: 5 sessions of 2 hours, one session per week.

Ideal pace for gently assimilating the basics.

Perfect if you prefer to take the time to practice between each meeting
⚡2. Accelerated format – Intensive day

Duration: One full day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ideal for those who want to learn quickly, condensing the entire program into one day
Requirements:
- Age 12 and over
- No experience
🧵 Materials provided (consumables)
Base fabric (cotton or canvas), Matching sewing thread, Pattern paper or kraft paper,
Lightweight interfacing (if required), Elastic (if needed), Zipper,
Buttons/snaps, Personalized label (e.g., “handmade”)
🧰 Equipment and tools on site
Sewing machines available, overlocker (if applicable), iron and ironing board,
scissors, pins and clips, seam ripper, tape measure and ruler, chalk/fabric marker,
hand needles
✂️ What you will learn during the beginner sewing course:
To begin, participants will learn essential cutting, joining and finishing techniques, as well as the use of sewing tools.
In addition, the course will focus on the use of the sewing machine (straight sewing, turns, etc.), understanding fabrics, choosing materials as well as advanced sewing techniques (example: Installing invisible zippers, Mounting full lining, Creating and installing darts and pleats, etc.).
Finally, in order to fully understand the techniques, participants will have the opportunity to carry out practical projects such as a canvas bag, a cosmetic bag, a table mat or a cushion cover.
